Engineering, the bill of materials
Every part, in the open.
The whole second generation kit, line by line from the record.
The table
Fourteen lines, one kit.
We are still testing the second generation. We will publish what a kit costs once the parts are final.

Parts availability
Common, off the shelf, more than one supplier.
The sourcing table is being finished: a line is complete when it names at least two places to buy the part and a substitute. Lines still marked sourcing in progress are listed as such in the table above, and the gaps are logged.
Every part is chosen to be common, off the shelf, and sold by more than one supplier, so a kit can be built without special access. Each line of the parts list names at least two places to buy it and a substitute if it is out of stock. If you cannot find a part where you live, write to us. We helped people source parts for hundreds of first generation kits, and we will help you.
That is the standard each line is being brought to; the table marks the lines that still need their two suppliers named.
The builder timing log
Real build times, from builders outside our team.
Empty until real outside builds are reported. The three-day figure stays a target until this log fills.
No outside build has been timed yet. When builders report their times, each entry appears here: the build, the days it took, and where in the world it happened.
Built one? Report your build time by email: tell us the days from first part to first buzz, and anything that slowed you down.
