Every link, its cable, and its plug. Eight links carry the kit. Each has a named cable and a named connector, so a pod, a driver, or a band is a plug replaceable module and a field repair is a swap, not a solder. Between bands the trunk passes through magnetic pogo pin breakaways. Routing runs in a fabric channel sewn to the inside of each band, away from the skin; pods are gasketed to IP54 class. Link Cable Connector Notes
Motor to driver 30 AWG stranded silicone, twisted pair JST SH 1.0 mm, 2 pin shortest run inside the pod, strain relieved at the pod wall
Driver to multiplexer 28 AWG, 4 conductor (SDA, SCL, VDD, GND) JST SH 1.0 mm, 4 pin one run per band segment
Multiplexer to Reflex 26 AWG, 4 conductor shielded JST PH 2.0 mm, 4 pin trunk backbone
Sensors to Reflex 26 AWG JST PH 2.0 mm, 4 pin for I2C and for radar UART; sonar keeps its captive cable to a PH header sensor bus separate from actuator bus
Reflex to Spine 28 AWG, 3 conductor (TX, GND, status) JST SH 1.0 mm, 3 pin one way, no RX into the Reflex
Spine to phone wireless none Bluetooth LE
Battery to everything 24 AWG silicone main rail keyed JST PH 2.0 mm or XT30 at the pack inline fuse

Between bands: magnetic pogo pin breakaway connectors, so a snagged band disconnects instead of dragging the wearer or tearing wire, and a wearer detaches a band without tools.

Strain relief: molded cable channels and a service loop at every pod; no wire in tension. Motor leads are silicone overmolded where they leave the pod wall. The sonar ECHO line is divided down to 3.3 V logic before the controller; the belt hub schematic carries the dividers. Routing: a fabric channel sewn to the inside of each band, away from the skin. Water: pods gasketed to IP54 class; the sonar transducers are already waterproof. Replacement: unplug the keyed or magnetic connector, clip in the new part.
